We drove from Okanagan over to Nakusp (about 3 hours & sharing the road with about 3 other vehicles the whole time!), which looks like it's gonna be big on the map but is a village by UK standards. Stayed 2 nights at Halcyon Hot Springs resort over looking the lake and mountains - it's a hard life this camping malarkey NOT!
