Carried on through the Kootenay mountains, which are just breathtaking. We stopped at Nelson and then got the ferry across to take the biker route to Creston - this was interesting in the camper van on the hair-pin bends, ha ha. We came across this cool house made entirely of glass bottles - it was built by an ex funeral director in the 50s as his way of recycling the embalming fluid bottles! Steve made friends with a chipmunk in the back garden, and we also saw an osprey building its nest!
