We saw a bear today !!!!!!! However it was at Calgary Zoo.... so not as exciting as it first sounds. Calgary Zoo was pretty cool though and we saw Moose, Wild Boars, Buffallo, Hippos, etc. We went to a Canadian BBQ last night at a friend of a friend of my Aunt June's who lives in Calgary (Doreen, Chris and Paul). It was a welcome bit of Canadian hospitality and we had the BIGGEST alberta steaks ever off the BBQ, followed by a few beers and a hockey game (plus lots of friendly local advice about the area).
