Drove through Manning Provincial Park and up to Lake Okanangan. Topped the trip to the aquarium by seeing some actual wild animals including lots of mule deer (huge ears)and some yellow bellied marmots that came to say hello when we stopped at the side of the road! Also saw a black bear but as we were driving down a hairpin mountain road we couldn't stop for the Attenborough bit. Hopefully we'll see some more (at a not-eating-us distance!) when we get to the Rockies.
