We drove back from the Rockies to Vancouver, and then got the ferry over to Vancouver Island, where we promptly fell in love with Victoria (the provincial capital of BC).
Even managed to find a cool campsite right on the harbour with little seaplanes zooming in over us and possibly the best view we could get from our campervan. We can confirm from our research that the local wild pacific salmon tastes just awesome guys :D
