Thursday was the last day at work in England for both of us, which makes yesterday the first day of voluntary unemployment... we'll miss our work friends (and wages!), but the general assessment of the first 40 ish hours leads us to one conclusion - roll on retirement!

12 sleeps left to Canada, and this afternoon we are hiding from our to-do list and flying to the Czech Republic to stay with Steve's old school friend Faz and his wife Lenka in their house in the woods outside Prague (pictured). There aren't any wild bears left in that part of the CZ but there is definitely a lot of large wildlife lurking in the trees so it's a gentle induction to life in the great outdoors, plus a good opportunity for Jo to practice packing light as we're only taking hand baggage. Jo - Still not sure where the clothes are supposed to go once the shoes and hair straighteners have been packed in that bag for Canada?!
