Visas arrived in the post today from the Canadian Embassy, the flights from London to Vancouver have been booked (Air Canada) and the dream of life in Canada is getting closer. We are both working our notice period and should be finished by mid April with a few weeks to say goodbye to friends and family before we fly out. We are flying to Vanouver and need to spend about a week in Vancouver near the BUNAC offices so we can sort out our National Insurance Numbers and open a Canadian Bank account. We then plan to travel up the Coast and then across to Whistler, Edmonton, Calgary and eventually back to Vancouver before we decide where to settle and apply for jobs.
